7 RECIPES ON MY HOLIDAY COOKING LIST TO TRY

Happy Friday, folks!  Who is as thrilled for the holidays as I?  Aside from the horrendous traffic, It is my absolute favorite time.  The overflow of desserts and treats, family meals, Friendsgiving, the parties, the sparkle.  It is a magical time of year.  As you all know, I pin quite a bit of recipes with every intention of trying them, but unfortunately, that usually does not happen.  I rounded up a list of my must-try recipes for the beloved holidays, and fingers crossed I get to them all.

Gingerbread Shake….Whaaaaat!
This seems like such a great little afternoon snack, and I just loves me smoothie and shake recipes.  It is a simple and easy way to keep it fresh and exciting in the kitchen.  Plus, this particular shake seems to be as healthy as it is delicious for you!

Sweet Potato Meringue Pie
Oh la la.  Growing up as a wee little Jenn, sweet potato pie was a staple dessert at Thanksgiving, and continues to be so.  I am digging the meringue twist to a classic.

Roasted Tomatoes with Goat Cheese Polenta.  Yep, you read that correctly.  Heaven.
I am a sucker for polenta, and the roasted tomatoes gives it that fall touch.  This could also be an amazing treat for breakfast.

Crispy Garlic Rosemary Smashed Potatoes
These little nuggets are perfect to tote to a Friendsgiving celebration.

Cauliflower Mac & Cheese Casserole
I’m picky about my Mac & Cheese, but I love the idea of introducing chopped green onions and cauliflower. Fancies it up a bit.

Simple Chickpea Bolognese
Since, I do not eat meat (although, I have been considering re-introducing it to my body again…more about that later.), I thought, “What a great way to eat bolognese again!”  This one is definitely a wild card, but I’m eager to test it out.
