The beauty of living in Southern California is experiencing all of the exhilarating local escapes. You can literally decide the day of, to pack a bag road trip it to encounter crisp blue waves crashing ashore, a gorgeous desert, or even the snow; and all within 2 to 3 hours or less. I have made it my personal goal to explore more of California this year. There is still so much I have not seen, and I am a freaking native!
So last week, the beau and I decided to explore Mt. Baldy. Mt. Baldy is the highest point of the massive San Gabriel Mountain Range, and is just an hour outside of Los Angeles. Prior to committing to a full ski or snowboard day, we decided to first check it out and get into some tobogganing.
