Fave California Etsy Shops For Wedding Extras

Planning a wedding has not been the most fun experience for me. I do not like planning events. Never have.  Even when I was in public relations, I always steered clear of event planning. It’s not my thing, and I hate all the little details you have to account for. I am always hitting severe levels of anxiety, hoping I’m not leaving out a small detail that can cause a big problem, and planning a wedding is no exception. But, with the help of my lovely wedding coordinator, Maricela at Alicia C. Creative, most of the stress has been taken away. Phew. There are of course, many positives and some things I love about the wedding planning process. For one, all of the yummy tastings.  Adil and I were able to take home leftovers from one place…I mean..it’s seriously the best. Secondly, buying my beautiful gown at Nicole Miller. AND lastly, going HAM on Etsy. I freaking love Etsy. I have been able to find all of my wedding extras at a handful of awesome, California-based Etsy shops, that I highly recommend for your nuptials. For all my Cali brides, here is a round-up of a few of my faves.

Jose Meza – Beautiful wooden welcome signs
The hand-painted floral design is what makes Jose’s wooden signs stand out from the rest. His signs are beautiful, personalized, and handmade and from the heart. I knew immediately once I started planning my wedding, that I had to have one of these romantic pieces to welcome my guests.

Sincerely Sofi Designs – Monogrammed errything at an awesome price
I had a really hard time finding affordable bridal robes. And I decided on Sincerely Sofi. She had the exact look  and color I was looking for, at over half the price of what I was seeing in traditional retail shops. I ordered the champagne color and it was actually the color I chose for my bridesmaids dresses. These robes are top-quality, and the packaging is super cute. Don’t worry about the size. A medium will fit most of your girls.

Sparkled Co – Customizable, simple, and chic paper goods at your fingertips
Want to DIY but need some guidance? Sparkled Co is perfect for this. Michelle really does take the guess work out of all the little wedding extras, and it is a great solution for the busy bride. You can purchase templates for invites, menus, seating charts, etc., and fill in the details. All you have to do is get it printed. It’s perfect for my needs, and it feels like I designed it myself.

BeadsBroochesBridal – Perfect hair accessories for your special day that aren’t over the top.
I will be wearing this gorgeous gilded leaf hair comb on my special day. It’s the perfect size, and there is an option to order it for either the left or the right side of your head, so it is perfectly positioned. It’s not too shiny and not too brassy. But, also check out her flirty garters. Most of the garters I’ve seen look so tacky and outdated. But Kay brings a modern touch to these puppies and has me rethinking the whole garter thing.
