Gift Guide: My Go-To Jewelry Brands

December 10, 2019

I am a jewelry and accessories lover, and it’s where I usually spend the most money. I love jewelry pieces that are simple and will stand the test of time. I love to layer, stack and dress up my basic a** outfits. I don’t do prints – I do jewels. So just in time for Christmas, I thought I’d share the top three jewelry brands I most often purchase from, with the hope that you will find the perfect gift for that special someone on your list. Or perhaps you can add more sparkle to your own jewelry collection. I am all about gift-giving to myself! Now, there are a lot of great jewelry brands out there, but these are the three I have found to be both high in quality without a super high price tag.

Mejuri

No surprise here. I’m pretty sure Mejuri is the IT jewelry brand on Instagram. However, I discovered them in 2017. I usually stick to their vermeil pieces because a girl is on a budget. I wear my zodiac necklace almost every day and I also have the jewelry case. Trust me, it’s worth every dime. I used to use my old ipsy Glam Bags, but my necklaces would get tangled and my tiny diamond studs would disappear into the folds, always leaving me slightly stressed that I may have lost them. And I’m not trying to have a stroke over some earrings. (Okay, I’m not Kim Kardashian in Bora Bora. I do realize there are worse things.)

Jenny Bird

Oh, how I love thee. This architectural brand is based in Toronto, Canada and is all about design over everything. I receive so many compliments every time I wear my Jenny Bird pieces. Their sleek, unique and modern designs add just the right amount of chic to a t-shirt and jeans. They are definitely worth dropping the coin.

Little Sky Stone

This brand is a new one for me. I’d been following the brand on Instagram for a while but never purchased anything, until one day one of their posts came up on my feed. And there it was. The super affordable, minimal, thin chain necklace I’d been looking for. I scooped it up as soon as I saw it! Little Sky Stone is all about the mindful, understated look. And the best part is that their gems are ethically sourced from small-scale gem mines, that are respectful of the culture and its artisans.

I am sure this list will grow, but currently, these are my top three in current rotation. What jewelry brands do you love? Share with me in the comments! 🙂
