High waist (and even mid-rise!) flares are back on the scene this season with a nod to the 70s. And it has me wishing I never gave away my amazing Urban Outfitters ones I snagged on sale during my college years. Seriously, they were on fleek and had the booty looking right. And tight. Luckily, I don’t have to beat myself up about it, because there’s a plethora of chic and beautifully fitted options that will have all the girls screaming, “Yes!” And sadly, the guys turning away in disgust. But, really who cares? It’s the perfect classic jean to have in your wardrobe at all times. Just make sure they ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS cover the shoe.

Let me introduce you to The Dove Quench Absolute Conditioner! It has been my go-to combing conditioner for the past few months. It was gifted to me by the brand, and I found myself buying a new bottle, because I loved it so much. The fragrance is VERY strong, but beautiful. So, if you have an aversion to strong scents, don’t buy this product. It doesn’t bother me, as I’m rinsing it out anyway. Here are a few reasons why I love this product:

Yes, yes I know back backs are super trendy, but I HAD to share this one by Madewell. I’ve gotten to the point where I hate schlepping my oversized Everlane tote bag while in the airport. I want to keep it easy breezy with only a wee little backpack and my carry-on. I yearn to say so long to my tote unexpectedly gape wide open, having all of my stuff fall out and looking a hot mess/disorganized to all the passersby. I want to say, “Hey, I’m really not this bad!” So, this little cutie inspired me. It’s chic, functional, and I have both my eyes on it.

As the temperature heats up here in L.A. by not too many degrees of course, but enough to where I can ditch the pants – Who am I kidding? We never HAVE to wear pants here in L.A.! But I’ve always been a stylish jeans and t-shirt kind of gal, and lately I just haven’t wanted to be restricted or bound in any way down below. It’s bad enough I have to wear undies. So, I decided back in April to start buying more dresses I can wear everyday. No new tops or blouses. No jeans. Just dresses.
